THE STORY
You ever have one of those days?

Follow Gruff as he has one of the longest days ever. It all starts when Tony Revario (the Boss of a prominent Las Vegas crime family) sends Vinnie and Rocco to find an accountant, that embezzled a lot of money from the Revario Crime Family.

Vinnie and Rocco get the wrong apartment and the wrong guy. They end up in Gruff's apartment and make the biggest mistake of their lives when they kill Gruff's beloved pet Fluffy.

When Gruff discovers his dead friend, all Hell breaks loose as he goes on the warpath to seek revenge. When the smoke clears and the dust settles, one thing will be remarkably clear...

...you never, EVER kill a man's dog.

In early 2007 Keith Mosher, Director and creator, conceptualized the story of Love and Revenge, which was written by David Bone Greider.

The film stars Dean Mauro (as Tony Revario), Tommy Lynch (as Rocco), Rob Marrocco Jr. (as Vinnie), Chris Gabriel (as Tommy Can), Rebecca Edwards (as Nikki Skars) and introduces Chris Schaub (as Gruff).

It features a completely original soundtrack with music from The Peccadilloes, Missing Blind, The Jyst, Grip Shifter, Steven Imel, Ant Dog, Gregory Sackett, Billys Kid, Gravel Bone, Casino, Thaddeus Corea and more.

A LITTLE BACKGROUND:
ONE LONG DAY is an Ultra Low Budget, Independent Action Film, shot entirely on location in Las Vegas, Nevada. This film marks the Directorial debut of Keith Mosher and features the talent of many local stars on the rise, such as Dean Mauro, Chris Schaub, Chris Gabriel, Rob Marrocco Jr. and Tommy Lynch, just to name a few.

Keith formed his production company Yellow Sun Entertainment and teamed up with Jason Coblentz of SBX Productions. Together and along with a cast and crew of nearly 40 people, they forged a film destined to become a cult classic.

HOW WAS THE FILM MADE?:
  • The film was shot in 28 days extending over a 12 month period, with most shooting taking place on Sundays.
  • The budget fell just under $3,000 dollars with most of the money going towards feeding the cast and crew (yes that's a LOT of Double Cheeseburgers and $5 Pizzas!)
  • The high production look and feel of the film was accomplished with the equipment and expertise DP Jason Coblentz brought to the table. We shot on a JVC HD 100, with goodies such as a 13' crane, steadicam vest and a nice wireless mic setup. We are editing in Final Cut Pro, using three different Macs and have Adobe After Effects, Blender and EffectsLab Pro to handle all of our special F/X.
  • The story of ONE LONG DAY was the brainchild of Keith Mosher, who sat with the story in his head for years. However it was the tremendous talent of David Bone Greider (Screenwriter) that brought the characters alive on the page.
  • Most Indy Films are shot with friends and family, which is what makes the story of ONE LONG DAY so extraordinary. Almost all of the cast and crew were strangers from the beginning, some met on Craigslist, others through chance encounters.
